The economy in Brazil today is on the rise. It has acquired the ninth place in the world and the first place in Latin America. Brazil's $1.3 trillion economy is bigger than those of India and Russia, and its per-capita income is nearly twice that of China.
Blessed with an abundant natural resources, Brazil has a large and growing agricultural, mining, manufacturing and service sectors. Brazil's excessive production has led to the export of agricultural goods to other contries and thus, earning a good amount of money. There has also been a great development in the field of science and technology in Brazil due to the foreign investment in the country.
According to the National Registry of Employment and Unemployment Report, Brazil had created 932,600 new jobs in the first nine months of the year 2009, despite the international financial crisis.
